Calling all shops, homes, pubs and schools in the Gipsy Hill area, Advent Windows are back, by popular demand! Organised by Christchurch Gipsy Hill, this year it is inspired by COP26 and the theme ties in with their hope for a world where the ravages of climate change may be stopped and where all people are able to live in peace with each other and with their environment. It’s a big hope we can all proclaim from our windows this Advent, lighting up images each day in December that inspire us to work together for this planet we all call home! And it’s a hope that can be found at the heart of the Christmas story, as angels proclaimed to shepherds in a field: ‘Glory in the highest and on earth, peace.’
