It’s hard to believe it’s already been 3 weeks since we enjoyed a day of sunshine, food, drink, games and music in Gipsy Hill, at the 2026 Gipsy Hill Village Fete! Thanks to the kindness of everyone who pledged to the crowdfund, the generosity of our local sponsors, and the 100 amazing volunteers who helped on the day, we welcomed over 2500 neighbours to Sainsbury Road and the Gipsy Hill Station Gardens for the 4th village fete here in SE19.
The fete is a huge team effort, and wouldn’t be possible without so many people giving their time and energy to making the day a success. Special thanks to Paxton Vets and Wonder Walks for the beautiful Dog Village and fantastic dog photos, the community groups who joined us to share more about what they do in and around Gipsy Hill, the 1st Crystal Palace Scouts for the keeping us entertained with classic fete games, and of course all of the local talent who played on the Coal Drop garden stage: Antenna; Mike Panos Band; Palace Accapella; and Max Lara! This year’s fete was made possible thanks to Lambeth Council for enabling our use of Sainsbury Road for the event.
It was a day of sunshine, good food & drink, and lots of fun, tunes and laughter, and we can’t wait to do it again in 2028!
