It’s happening! Join us on Sunday 12th July for the Gipsy Hill Village Fete…

The fete will be held in our Station Gardens and local Basketball court and all along Sainsbury Road, located off Gipsy Hill, next to Gipsy Hill Railway Station. The Village Fete is a fun, family-friendly event which is free for all. We’ve worked hard to bring community favourite attractions from our previous fetes to our new venue, and there are some new surprises too!
Join us on Sunday 12th July (Noon to 4pm) for:
- An afternoon of live music on the Fete stage
- Lots of traditional fete fun & games
- Street food by Gipsy Hill Smokehouse
- Community refreshment table – supported by Passage to India, The Great Southern and The Scouts
- Beer tent hosted by Gipsy Hill Brewery
- Chill out, and play and make things
- Birds of Prey
- Community Health & Wellbeing in the community marquee
- Bouncy Castle
- Dog village – health and wellbeing, sustainable goodies, photos of your family friend
Watch this space for more details nearer the time, and find our full event programme published very soon!
Fete events already include:
Dog Village
There will be new fete offerings this year for sustainable dog treats and toys, tips on health and wellbeing for your furry favourite, and a chance for photos of your family friend – so whether your dog is a veteran, a puppy, has fabulous ears, is a happy fur ball or just simply a star – bring them down and treat yourself.

Not ready for the fun to stop after the fete? Catch Primary Assembly Bangers at The Great Southern from 8pm for the after party!
Volunteers
The Gipsy Hill Village Fete is organised and staffed by our local community. We need volunteers to help on the day – please email Chris (VillageFete@gipsyhillfriends.org) if you would like to find out more.
Sponsors
The Village Fete is only possible thanks to kind community contributions, the time and effort of our volunteers and also the diversity of the many local businesses who support us and contribute to the event. Our crowdfund to fundraise for this year’s fete is here is open and needs your donations and sponsorship to ensure we can include fete favourites. So a HUGE thank you to all community supporters, Southwark Council, 1st Crystal Palace Scouts, and our local businesses sponsors:
