Gipsy Hill Station – Join us for some autumnal gardening!

Update: The cats were back on 17th November! This time Fanny was joined by C.A.T (Cable Avoidance Tool), that was kindly provided by our super local and amazing Focus Plant Hire (on Gipsy Hill), and a strimmer provided by the also amazing Library of Things (from Upper Norwood Liburary). Great work preparing the soil, and tidying up.. and another 20+ bags cleared away!

We are now ready for bulb planting!

And… look was found… we may need some help from a local brewery to discover what this really tasted like!

… and… Wow!.. What a great morning’s work by volunteers… and project management by Fanny…

Saturday 20th October!

It’s a “buddleia blitz” and bush trimming bonanza! Save the date!
Meet: 9.50am meet up Brown and Green at the front of the Station.

We are getting access to the Gipsy Hill Station grounds for some tidying up… and autumnal gardening!

If you are interested in coming to help to start the tidy up then… GET IN TOUCH! Email to gipsyhillfriends@gmail.com so we can send out details nearer the time. We are limited in how many people can get access (20 max).

You will need sensible footwear (no sandals or open toe shoes preferably sturdy boots), gardening gloves etc and we’ll supply a Hi-vis vest and equipment for the day. For this session, adults only, as we prepare and tidy up the area.
