We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of local residents & businesses, there will once again be a Community Christmas Tree here in Gipsy Hill this festive season. After a successful crowdfund – including a stretch target to enable Friends of Gipsy Hill to operate our Dear Neighbour scheme – the Gipsy Hill tree will be installed on Saturday 25th November.
Not only will there be the annual Christmas Tree, decorated with baubles made by the community, but it will also play host to a series of festive events this winter! Come down to the Gipsy Hill Station Garden on Saturday 18th November from 10am-2pm to make & decorate your very own bauble for this year’s tree, and join us around the tree for performances from our talented local community throughout December:
Tuesday 5th December, 6pm – Palace Acappella
Wednesday 13th December, 7pm – The Renegade Choir
Thursday 14th December, 6.30pm – Crystal Palace Brass Band
Sunday 17th December, 4pm – The Ambrassadors
Tuesday 19th December, 7pm – Crystal Palace Community Choir
